Mallory Pisarek (MM)
Mallory Pisarek, a Maplemere Senior Building Representative and Special Education Teacher Rep for SHEA, has been honored as the 2026 SHEA Representative of the Year in recognition of her leadership, dedication, and service (...and of course - her protest playlists!) to our membership.
Mallory Pisarek is a dedicated and principled leader who consistently stands up for what is right and what is best for students. A former self-contained teacher and now a co-teacher in an inclusive elementary classroom at Maplemere, she brings both expertise and compassion to everything she does.
Mallory has the courage to ask difficult questions and challenge decisions when a students’ needs risk being overshadowed by adult interests. She has also played an instrumental role in bringing together staff across our four elementary buildings, helping to foster unity, collaboration, and a stronger collective voice within SHEA.
At the same time, Mallory is a true cheerleader for her colleagues — encouraging others, lifting people up, and helping fellow educators believe in themselves and their ability to make a difference.
Her leadership, integrity, and unwavering commitment to students and staff make her a deserving recipient of the 2026 SHEA Representative of the Year Award.
